Where NACCI began

NACCI grew from something that happened naturally, long before it became a business.

In his previous work, Nawaf was often the person people turned to when information needed to be shaped for others — developing training manuals, creating visual explainers, building new processes, recording keypress messages and video training, and finding better ways to communicate ideas. He found himself drawn to this kind of work. There was something satisfying about taking a collection of ideas, information and moving parts and turning them into something structured, connected and easier to understand.

But there was something else he began to notice.

Experts naturally carry the context around their subject. They know the terminology, the history, the relationships between ideas and the details that have become second nature. When you know something well, you see it differently. But someone encountering that information for the first time doesn't have that same lens.

That realisation became an important part of how Nawaf approached his work — not changing the expertise, but stepping outside of it for a moment and looking back in through the lens of someone who doesn't yet know what you know. Over time, it became clear that this wasn't simply something Nawaf enjoyed doing. It was a skill that became the foundation for NACCI.

Fibonacci

The name NACCI was inspired by the Fibonacci sequence — a simple pattern found throughout nature. From something as intricate as a sunflower to the shape of a seashell, Fibonacci patterns reveal an underlying sense of order, structure and relationship within things that can appear complex at first glance.

We were drawn to the beauty of structure within complexity: the way patterns and relationships can create a sense of harmony, balance and calm. That quiet sense of order sits at the heart of NACCI.

Information within organisations can often feel much the same — layers of ideas, processes, messages and details that may seem disconnected or overwhelming. But underneath the complexity, there is often a structure waiting to be uncovered.

The Phoenix

The phoenix represents energy in motion — direction, lift and ascent. For NACCI, it is a symbol of what becomes possible when things come together.

Nawaf

Founder | Creative & Learning Designer

Nawaf is the driving force behind NACCI, bringing together an eye for detail, a strong sense of consistency and the ability to see the bigger picture.

He leads projects from initial idea through to final delivery, making sure the pieces work together and the finished result meets the standard NACCI sets for its clients.

His work spans information and learning design, animation, educational video, web design, technology, music and sound production, voice recording and mastering — with a healthy dose of creativity and humour along the way.

Nawaf has a knack for connecting seemingly unrelated pieces, turning ideas into cohesive experiences and paying attention to the small details that can make a big difference.

Erin

Educationalist | Learner & Learning Specialist

Erin brings more than 16 years of experience in education, with experience working with learners across the spectrum — from early childhood and teenagers through to adults. She also holds a Master’s degree in Education.

Her strength lies in understanding information from the learner's point of view: What makes sense? What feels confusing? What needs to come first? And how can ideas be connected so that they are easier to understand and absorb?

Erin helps bridge the gap between what needs to be communicated and how people actually learn, bringing a learner-centred perspective to the way information is structured, organised and presented.

At NACCI, she helps make sure the information isn't simply accurate — it makes sense to the person receiving it.

Andrea

Educationalist | Digital Education Specialist

Andrea brings more than 40 years of experience in education, working across roles including teaching, lecturing and educational design. She holds a Doctorate in Online Education and brings extensive knowledge of digital learning to NACCI.

Her expertise combines grounded educational theory with research-backed approaches to learning, helping NACCI consider not only what information needs to be communicated, but how people engage with and learn from it.

Andrea brings depth, perspective and decades of educational experience to the team — helping connect NACCI's creative work with sound educational thinking and evidence-informed practice.

Her experience in digital education is particularly valuable when information needs to translate effectively into online and technology-supported learning environments.
